The story takes place in a world with only one big continent. This world is divided into two federations engaged in an endless series of fruitless wars. The story starts when a girl, Allison, and a boy, Will, who have been raised together in an orphanage, set out on an adventure to find a great treasure which is worth ending the war for.

 

 

 

RYUKYUSU (LUX) is a forsaken City where despair and violence is widespread. There lives Ichise, a boy who carves his life in gamble boxing to live, Ran, a girl who sees the near future and Oonishi Kyogo, the leader of ORUGANO who can hear the “Voice of the Town”.

LUX is governed by force by ORUGANO, a battle equipped working class organization, led by Kalis Makimata, the Citizen Salvation Alliance. However a team of youths proclaiming freedom, RAKAN, parting themselves from the LUX, create their own community, GABE. Despite of the quarrel and clash between ORUGANO and RAKAN, the delicate balance of the town is maintained simply because LUX requires the roles from both of them.

There exists RAFIA, a rare material that connects the human body, a necessity to Texhnolyze, the sole purpose of existence for this forsaken town. The town symbol Obelisk silently watches the chaos.

The Oracion galaxies are the richest mineral resource in the universe, according to any space pirate you’ll run across. Thanks to modern robotics, freight ships moving through these galaxies are unmanned, and thus are easy prey for the pirates. The police have given up, forcing freight companies to hire outside help. One agency, the Private Guard Company, has a ship under it’s command that’s unique; piloted by 16-year old Li May Fong, the Angel Links roams the galaxy, exterminating pirates for free.

Oboro, a naive, love-struck girl, is pledged to Gennosuke, an idealist. Both are successors to opposing ninja clans with a long history of hatred kept barely in check by a covenant of peace. Just as the two vow to reconcile the clans with their marriage, the shogun orders the feud to resume in order to resolve an internal struggle that threatens to tear the Tokugawa shogunate apart. Even worse, Oboro and Gennosuke themselves are forced to lead their clans in battle. Can the star-crossed lovers resist the brutal circumstances and remain true to their love as the death toll rises?

The film version follows a “Hunter Warrior” and cyborg healer named Ido. Ido formerly lived in the floating land of Zalem (Tiphares in the book), the paradise that hovers over the refuse heap of Scrap Iron City in which he now resides with his former lover, Chiren. In his travels as a bounty hunter (killing spine thieves in a world in which human nerve tissue has become the most precious commodity), Ido one day discovers and repairs the remnants of a cyborg whom he names Gally (Alita in the Western version). Though possessing the body of a young woman, Gally embodies Ido’s most sophisticated and lethal cybernetic skill.
The preternaturally strong, amnesiac Gally begins to forge a life for herself in a world where every day can bring a fight for life.

Portrays the lives of several school girls attending a Japanese high school with a very loose humor tone. The main heroine is Konata Izumi, an athletic and intelligent girl who, despite these attributes, is not in a sports club, and her grades remain low. Her laziness at school is due to her love for anime and video games, and she is not interested in much else.

 

 

 

Hoshi no Koe ~The Voices of a Distant Stars~, uses full 2D and 3D digital animation, is a story of a long distance love and mail messages between a boy and girl. Set in 2046 after the discovery of the ruins of an alien civilization on Mars, man has been able to make leaps in technology and is planning to send an expedition into space in the next year. Nagamine Mikako and Terao Noboru are junior high school students. However, while Noboru will be entering senior high next winter, Mikako is selected to join the space expedition.

Though Akane didn’t recover from heartbreak, she was engaging in swimming to accomplish her target. One day, Goda Joji transferred into Akane’s class. Though he was supposed to graduate the next spring, he boasted that he would win the base ball tournament next summer. As soon as he met Akane, he proposed to her, but she refused him at once. Because he was very optimistic, he recovered soon. Since then he had continued proposing her, although she refused him every time he proposed to her. Yoko couldn’t stand it any longer, and she made Akane show him the school around. Joji enjoyed the situation as if they were dating, but it ended without any special event. As she was leaving, the hill behind the school building caught Joji’s eyes

While the young Angelique lives out her days peacefully in her school, attacks from the monstrous Thanatos has been increasing everywhere else. Two Purifiers show up one day, men with the power to exterminate the Thanatos. One of them, Nyx, attempts to convince Angelique to join them in their work, as she has the power to be the only female Purifier. As Angelique hesitates, a Thanatos shows up in their school. Nyx and the other Purifier, Rayne, fight a losing battle. With her classmates falling prey to the Thanatos, and the Purifiers beaten to submission, Angelique’s desire to save everyone awakens. She became the only female Purifier in their land of Arcadia, the one known as the “Queen’s Egg”.
