For all of you who think there are no videos for this week; One episode is released per week, and it is on Wednesday evening. The next weeks episode title then is posted for what will com out ONE WEEK LATER. Episode 167 just came out last night, and this one, 168, will be out next Wednesday (April 23rd 2008) These are only released in Japan once a week, are still being created/animated off the manga, so just be patient and they will come out every Wednesday unless otherwise stated.
on the manga 4 captains comes to help them ,
and on earth the rest are waiting for aizen’s attack, but on the manga they didnt show that new captain so i dont know where they are going with this. and also it wasnt ichigo that killed grimmjow, it was espada number 5 Nnoitra Jiruga , yall should the read the manga its more interesting. and plus the vizards were all captains 100 years ago , and aizen was lieutenant of Hirako Shinji the 5th division captain
what i think is happening is that the primary reason people come here is to watch the episodes. its pretty much irrelevant if you read the manga or not, because anyone writing comments here; they like to talk about what they know or what they think might happen and then some people are taken back because they dont want to be spoiled. i know im the same way. i love discussion of course if you read my last posts in episode 167 im usually very careful myself not to spoil anything. sorry i have a habit of breaking down things, thats how i see it. this comments section isnt really a forum, but as courtesy to those who like to post about the story wether its already happened in the anime or not, we might benefit from having the option of a spoiler tag.
Watching english eps that are just now being released.. Anyone else think Gin an Kaname are actually good guys? Just staying close to Azien to learn an grow stronger. :\
If you are just watching the english translated episodes, that are only on episode 60. Right now with the japanese episodes, they are on 168. If you want to catch up, go back to the episode list and watch it from 60; you have a lot to catch up on ;).
Personally I hate the English dubbed versions and prefer the Japanese originals with the subtitles. Makes for a better representation of the Manga So if you dont want to wait a few more years to watch the episodes that are being dubbed in English right now, i suggest watching the subbed episodes here so you can catch up!
For Crystal, the count at the moment is 168, but it is nowhere near finished, so i would expect at least another 100 to finish the storyline that they have planned.
its annoying to have to wait year and years. i could really sympathize with those who waited for inuyasha and then dragon ball series. luckily, death note will be completely dubbed by the end of june. hopefully they’ll do more with the movies. etc series.
I watched all the english dubs before I started to watch the subs, I was just saying “Re-Watching” I thought that. Why else would I be here If Im not caught up?
dubbed sux, there is no fun watching them.Anyway, i found watchin’ anime is a start in learning japanese. If any1 can support me with an e-book,i’ll be greatful.my mail si Tyrael_art@yahoo.com,and i’m from Romania(Eastern Europe). Also,I think u’ll find lovely death note(37 eps) and Claymore(26 eps)-those can find them http://www.onemoreanime.com as well.
Yes I have the best name eva, and no my name itself is not spam, so on to bleach………. so clsoe yet so far, im probably spend the next few hours of waiting, catchign up on my one piece or starting cowboy beepbop or tryign to find some FF anime eps.
haha if anyone ever got mad at you on the internet with you using that name they’d be very annoyed to have to type out i!i!i!i! to get your attention. its not as easy as saying “joebob, screw you” instead they’d be like …… ah screw you! ^_^ lol
anyways. what is this about there being 300 episodes to bleach? or 7 movies?
subbed or dubbed. they have their pros and cons. i like to keep an open mind about things. does it really matter if the dubbing doesnt match their mouths perfectly? well it does to a point, but just like when you talk to people in real life, you usually look at their eyes instead and if you combine their facial expressions with their voice actors, either subbed or dubbed, it all comes out pretty good in the end. personal preferences aside, i watch both subbed, dubbed, raw, i don’t care. i’m the type of person who can watch a movie or listen to a song over and over again without getting tired of it. the same goes for epic stories in anime and manga, the context shouldn’t matter too much. the only thing that really bothers me in the localization process are that sometimes there are scenes that are deleted or altered in some way. i know why that is. basically it has to do with cultural taboos and “percieved contexts”. i would like to think that its a common fact that everyone knows that humans judge other humans and even material objects before actually ‘getting to know’ whatever is being judged. really it is such an irony that humans, especially on an individual level do not like to be judged.
waahh~~~ was love~~ but amagai is not as c00l as ichimaru used to be Q_Q i want ichimaru to be sanbantai no taicho~~
but i cannot help feeling he is perfect as a badboy XD~
funny ep~ cannot wait for the 7/5
dragon: Umm thats not why they cut scenes out. They cut scenes out in America, they censor words and gore, and sometimes alter the story line. Why do they do that? Well in America kids are more drawn to cartoons and stuff like that, adults not so much. So they transfer the anime from Japan over here, give them horid voice actors, and censor and alter a bunch of crap so it will be more viewable for kids. Because what parent will let their kid watch a cartoon that says “shit”, “fuck”, ect… with a story line specifically designed for death, and a huge mass of blood?
it doesn’t have 300 episodes, nor 7 movies. 168 currently released as we can see lol. 2 OVA or “non-released episodes” and there are currently 2 released films, the first was “Memories of Nobody” and the second (which I really want to see, but cant because no-one has it subbed) is revolving around captain Hitsugaya, “The Diamonddust Rebellion” It should be available in a month or so so I’m waiting anxiously
XD lmao alex and dragon thank you thank you. I ment I’m gonna spend the time I have, because I am waiting for ep 168 to be subbed, catching up on my one piece eps, or watch cowboy beebop, or try to find some Final Fantasy anime, or watch Ghost In A Shell.
Very well put dragon, eloquent and insightful, you have a great way of looking at it. I cant say I cant watch the same story repeatedly (songs are an exception though :P) but I admire your ability to. I had only recently taken an interest in anime, about a month ago I had watched my way through the Full Metal Alchemist episodes then the film. Went on to bleach, watched episodes 1 through 47 dubbed, thoroughly enjoyed it, then the rest subbed. Honestly as long as you can understand it’s brilliant, preferences are the personal prerogatives. I had the attraction to anime for the philosophic side, I could go on for hours about Grave of the Fireflies etc etc but the “higher meaning” still lies in all anime stories. Bleach has the variety of characters that inter-twine like most series but unlike western shows. It can be interpreted. There is meaning to it. Not plain old dragged out over suspense and poor plots like “Lost” or “Prison Break”. So that’s a paragraph and a half about my life lol. Sorry for the lifestory, killing time till this subbed version appears is a lot harder than it looks.
I personally like subbed more than dubbed because i went from watching dubbed at like 48 maybe and started watching like 3episodes of subbed a day and atleast 10 on the weekend and ive gotten so used to hearing how much cooler they all sound in subbed i tried to watch like episode 58 in dubbed and i gave up after 5mins because ichigo sounds so much gayer than the subbed version… but more importantly imba show i wish the shows would come out sooner than once a week but I have to thank who ever subbs these because it would take me a year to sub it just because i would wait for english to come out then copy it to a jap version hehe
ninetails: actually when i wrote about cutting scenes out. saying that it was because of perceived contexts and taboos is simply one of many reasons. aside from culture, there are a lot of technical aspects to consider such as culture dialect, lingo, slang, and emotion to consider when localizing a media product. then you mention words and phrases being used like “sh-t, f-ck, i’m going to k-ll you”, etc. that would also tie in with the taboos and perceived contexts that must be considered in the localization process. there are also certain scenes under specific contexts that would be changed or left out entirely to appeal to and act as a buffer to the senses, morals, convictions, and expectations of the end users. this expands through every single human emotion. no matter if you prefer dubbed or subbed. i will say that when i wrote my previous post and assessment i was thinking of a deleted scene in the death series that involves the funeral of one of the main characters about 3 quarters of the way through.
one of my friends, even my parents complain that i don’t take a side. i’m always analyzing, debating, defending everything, every person, every idea in some form or another. picking apart pieces of a puzzle that can never be put together. maybe i should become a detective? eh it might be too boring considering the chances of me running into a real world Kira would give a chance of 0%. who knows? i also know that the chances of me finding a ‘real-working’ death note are also 0%. so being a detective might be boring afterall. i write a lot huh?
Mathias: thank you for the good marks. ^^ i always make a conscious effort not to polarize myself like a lot of people might do. so for instance. i watched bleach dubbed all the way to where rukia is saved. i wanted to know what would happen next so i decided to watch the episodes that were not yet dub, thus watching and reading the subbed versions that are airing in japan. then there are the manga scanlations which i keep myself updated with. as a matter of fact, i could care less about wether or not a product is subbed or dubbed. instead my eyes are looking into the idea that while i do prefer dubbed over subbed in 95% of the circumstances, I also do enjoy the subbed just as much. The other 5% will account for the errors that are excessive and blatantly distort the message orginally given. however if the end user of a dubbed version can come to the same result as the end user of a subbed version, than all the fighting i see over the internet about what is better; subs or dubs, is pointless because it polarizes individuals and people. so everyone asks me, “why don’t you choose a side?”, and i say to them, “if i rely on either side over the other, than i will surely loose in the end”.
another arc… does anyone know what time period this takes place in relation to where we just left off in the arrancar arc?
next episode airs may 7th… why? is this normal for anime that airs in japan? if so that effectively cuts the time we’ll be seeing new episodes in half and doubles the the time we have to wait to see all of the episodes. ah man im going to be old before i finish this series.
2) Subbed>>>>>>Dubbed always, hands down. English voice actors just sound dumb, and cannot compare to the Japanese ones, and the editing for the english ones detract so much from the content.
3) I dont care if it is a filler arc, i just dont want to wait till May 7th!!!!!!! nooooooooo another 2 week hiatus, i think i am going to Cry…. i need a new anime to watch in the meantime, any suggestions? Finished full metal alchemist, death note, Genshiken, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Outlaw star, and Naruto (which all kicked ass btw) so any suggestions i would love to start at new one, plz let me know!!
Damn Bleach kicks ass, I love this anime, never will get old!
Lol, yeah I see your point dragon. I prefer dubbed myself but the subbed does the job till the dubbed happens. I kept looking for dubbed but since I only looked on my veoh I was a bit limited. So 47 onwards I had to tolerate subbed. Then it got to the point where I couldn’t get 167, went online and got it subbed. Looked for 168, and found an infinite amount of adverts for websites and one being a bleach wallpaper with a mad remix of hall of the mountain king and I buckled instantly and pmsl. So then I’d found out I could get the most recent episodes here. Not got time to watch the rest of part 2 the now -_- so I’ll wait in angst till I have a free 20 mins
actually i hate writing. typing is easier, but in the end its just the same as writing. i just like to; simply put ask questions, debate, and move forward.
Lol same dragon, I can type faster than I can write. That was a bit of a disappoint, the new captain is a light-weight. Not quite what I was hoping for out of this episode after the wait.
i don’t think hes a light weight by any means. he did stop that ‘time sweeper?’ with no problem, while he was drunk. so imagine what he can do when hes not drunk. not only that, a captain of a gotei 13 squad is no pushover by any means. they’re chosen for a reason to be captains. of course in that episode they’re really poking around at who the two captains are that recommended him. the new captain looks like a cross between ichigo-kaiben and uruhara, doesn’t he? the person he brought along with him has be interested though. you see he doesnt look all human? he has fur at different parts of his body.
ah. unless you mean light weight by being easy with alcohol, then yes he is! -_^
Yea, the videos worked great for me, not sure why people are saying it is not working. Try to redownload DIVX player and see if that helps.
and to i!i!i!i!, if you dont have Divx player on your comp already you should get it.. pretty standard media player now…
WTB the old music and intro to Bleach really gets me because the last series set (IE epidode 160) those introductions, would get me soooooo pumped and get my adrenaline shooting so i would be more than ready to watch what awesomeness Bleach had to offer. This new one just is annoying i think and makes me want to just skip through it (i would always watch the intro on the last few)
But i guess what can you do, but wait 2 weeks going to have to check out those other Anime’s look for a post from me about them, i cant wait!
April 16th, 2008 at 10:53 pm
cant wait to check it out!!!
April 17th, 2008 at 1:46 am
uhh there’s no video this week of bleach?
April 17th, 2008 at 9:32 am

Aye (yes) Kevlar, the new intro is pretty pathetic. The last one beforehand and the first intro theme pwn this one sideways lol.

April 24th, 2008 at 12:48 pm
actually i hate writing. typing is easier, but in the end its just the same as writing. i just like to; simply put ask questions, debate, and move forward.
thanks ^^

Lol same dragon, I can type faster than I can write. That was a bit of a disappoint, the new captain is a light-weight. Not quite what I was hoping for out of this episode after the wait.

part 2 stops at 5:01 all the time
April 24th, 2008 at 5:37 pm
…, what r u ppls talking about it is working fine…maybe sure that u have the corect codec packages and so on
April 25th, 2008 at 1:15 am
i don’t think hes a light weight by any means. he did stop that ‘time sweeper?’ with no problem, while he was drunk. so imagine what he can do when hes not drunk. not only that, a captain of a gotei 13 squad is no pushover by any means. they’re chosen for a reason to be captains. of course in that episode they’re really poking around at who the two captains are that recommended him. the new captain looks like a cross between ichigo-kaiben and uruhara, doesn’t he? the person he brought along with him has be interested though. you see he doesnt look all human? he has fur at different parts of his body.
ah. unless you mean light weight by being easy with alcohol, then yes he is! -_^

Yea, the videos worked great for me, not sure why people are saying it is not working. Try to redownload DIVX player and see if that helps.
and to i!i!i!i!, if you dont have Divx player on your comp already you should get it.. pretty standard media player now…
WTB the old music and intro to Bleach
really gets me because the last series set (IE epidode 160) those introductions, would get me soooooo pumped and get my adrenaline shooting so i would be more than ready to watch what awesomeness Bleach had to offer. This new one just is annoying i think and makes me want to just skip through it (i would always watch the intro on the last few)
But i guess what can you do, but wait 2 weeks
going to have to check out those other Anime’s
look for a post from me about them, i cant wait!
